Britney Jean Spears was born December 2, 1981, in the small town of Kentwood, Louisiana, and began performing as a singer and dancer at a young age. With a nationally televised appearance on Star Search already under her belt, Spears auditioned for the Disney Channel’s The New Mickey Mouse Club at age eight. When the show was cancelled she set about auditioning for pop bands and recording demo tapes, one of which eventually landed her a deal with Jive Records. In late 1998, Jive released her debut single ”…Baby One More Time”, which went straight to number one.

By the time …Baby One More Time finally started to lose steam, Spears was ready to release her follow-up. Oops!…I Did It Again gained Britney her second number one album. A few months later Britney began dating Justin Timberlake. Over the next couple of years Britney released two more albums, “Britney” and “In the Zone”, each debuting at number one. In 2004 Britney earned herself her first Grammy for her single “Toxic”.

Not soon after Britney’s life started to spiral out of control.canes and kisses. First there was the star’s bizarre two-day marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander, followed by the controversial, highly sexualized Onyx Hotel tour, which was eventually cancelled, allegedly because of a knee injury. Britney then shocked the world by announcing that she was getting married again. This time to her back-up dancer, Kevin Federline. They were married in September 2004 and soon made a reality show documenting their time together.

The following year, after the release of her Greatest Hits album, Britney announced that she was pregnant with her first child, Sean Preston and the next year found herself pregnant again with her second child, Jaden James. Shortly after the birth of her son, Britney and Kevin decided to get a divorce. A harsh custody battle for the two children started and ended in Kevin’s favour. This sent Britney over the ends. Pictures in magazines emerged of Britney being drunk and partying all the time.
With her most shocking moment to day, in which Spears spontaneously shaved her head, Spears sought help at Malibu’s Promises Treatment Center. After leaving the center, she began working on her comeback album and performed a few small shows at House of Blues. She released Blackout in late 2007 and is her least successful album to date and in early 2008 Britney completely lost custody of her two sons. But by the end of the year Britney had turned her life around. Gaining numerous awards for songs from and her album, getting her life under control, releasing her latest album Circus which went to number one and most importantly being granted custody of her children again.

My name is I James Hamilton born on 26th April 1990. I was born in Germany as his Father was associated in the Royal Air-force there. A few months later I went back with his family to Scotland, where he stayed for seven years. I attended Leuchars Primary School till Primary Two and once my family moved again attended Prestonpans Infant School, in Prestonpans. After completing my Primary School education I went into my first year of Secondary School, Preston Lodge High School, where he took great interest in Art and English. I attended High School until I finished his Sixth year. I now attend Telford College where I study Introduction to Creative Media.

I am a very easy going person who enjoys making people laugh. I am very happy with my life at the moment. I enjoy going out with his friends at weekends. My friends are mean the world to me and are basically my life. Without them my life would be pretty boring and uneventful, at least on the social side. My favourite places to go are clubs, the cinema, pubs and parties. Like any other normal teenager now-a-days, I enjoy going out and having a good time, socialising with friends. I am currently not in a relationship. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, drawing and watching TV.
Music plays a large part in my life; I am rarely seen with my iPod headphones in. I don’t section myself into listening to one genre of music, I am pretty open minded and listen to anything that appeals to me.

Hopefully in a year or so I will have moved out of my parent’s house and have a home of my own. After completing college and gaining all of the grades he needs I wish to proceed into the world of advertising or journalism. Both of these careers interest my highly and I looking forward to the next few years gaining more knowledge in these fields in order to have a successful career in the future.
